The customer first encountered Hanwha through a local UK exhibition hosted by Dugard, and was impressed by the high rigidity and efficient layout/structure of the Hanwha CNC swiss turn lathes, leading to the sale of the equipment. An interview with Key Precision was conducted through MTD (British machine tool broadcaster), and it talks about the revolutionary tool life-saving of XD38II-R.
Parts produced by Key Precision have a lot of repetitive machining operations, and we found that the tool life at the XD38II-R machine increased by 25% to 35%, so we enables money savings from XD38II-R .
Five trainees from the Midwest area came down to HMA from March 13th to 16th to take the “Swiss Turning Advanced” course held by Dave Folz, Engineering Manager. During the four-day course, they learned “Advanced Part Programming, and Understanding Imposing and Super Imposing Format.”
After completing the training, they earned the certificate of “Advanced Part Programming”.
Ten trainees from all over the country came to HMA on January 30th and had training until February 3rd.
The class these 10 trainees took was Swiss Turning Basics. During that week, they learned the “principles of Swiss machining, Basic Swiss Part Layout and Beginner Part Programming, Machine Setup, and Part Cutting”.
On their last day, all the trainees successfully finished their training and received certificates of “Swiss Turning Basics”
At the MD&M Show in Anaheim, California, February 7-9, 2023, Hanwha Machinery America introduced the XD26ll-V, which is specialized in the processing of medical device products. Through this exhibition, many customers were informed of the processability of orthopedic and surgical tool parts and dental supplies (implant, abutment, fixture). Even now, a significant number of medical device customers are continuously inquiring about whether to process medical device products. About 60 medical device customers visited and showed a lot of interest.
In particular, Creodent purchased three XD20s on-site and completed installation and performance verification. They said they are very satisfied with the precision and tool life compared to their competitors’ machines and are considering purchasing additional machines.
Hanwha Precision Machine Tool participated in one of the global 4th major Machine Tool exhibitions ’SIMTOS(2022)’.
Attracted customers’ attention by exhibiting six new products, including ‘XV20/26’ automatic medical component processing lathes.
Hanwha Precision Machinery (CEO Ok Kyung-seok), a manufacturer of CNC Automatic Lathe 1) advanced electronic equipment of Hanwha Group, announced that it participated in the “SIMTOS 2022” exhibition held at KINTEX in Goyang (Ilsan) from the 23rd to the 27th of this month<May>.
This “SIMTOS 2022” is known as one of the four major global machine tool exhibitions, hosted by the Korea Machine Tools Industry Association and held every two years, but it was held again in four years from 2018 due to the outbreak of COVID-19.
Hanwha Precision Machinery exhibited ‘XD10’, an automatic lathe for processing small parts such as 5G communication connectors and mobile phone camera parts, and ‘XDI32’ and ‘STL42’, which are optimized for high-precision and high-complex trends. A total of six new automatic lathe products were submitted, including “XV20/XV26” and “XD26III,” which are optimized for processing medical parts such as implants.
In addition, the company also introduced models XD38II and XD45, the company’s steady domestic and foreign best-selling models, and drew attention from many visitors through demonstrations of representative sample processing of each model.
Specifically, the new product “XV20/26”, which was first introduced at the exhibition, is a next-generation automatic lathe that implements “high-precision processing” by applying sub-spindle and cross-drill of best-in-class, and improves “production flexibility” in a small-volume production environment with many changes.
Production Information Interworking Solution ‘Hi-Link’ was submitted from Hi-CPS (Hi-CPS), a predictive preservation solution that monitors equipment conditions in real time and prevents maintenance through alarms, provides production information to the MES to efficiently manage production.
In addition, the recipe management solution ‘Hi-PMS (High-PMS)’ was submitted together to maintain optimal process conditions by integrating the processing program.
“We will provide innovative production and manufacturing solutions to customers through continuous new technology development and investment,” said Gong Deok-geun, the executive director of Hanwha Precision Machinery’s Machine Tool Division.
“We will focus on it,” he said. “Through collaboration with our automatic lathe, differentiated software manufacturing solutions, and Hanwha-Mechanical Cooperation Robots, we will become a global manufacturing solution company.” We will move forward,” he said.
