Hanwha CNC Service Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines and computerized control systems at customer sites
  • Performing preventive maintenance tasks and providing training to customers on how to use and maintain CNC machines safely and efficiently
  • Communicating with customers and service managers to ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues
  • Documenting service activities and reporting any problems or suggestions to improve service quality and performance
  • Replace ball screws, motors and any parts as needed
  • Machine alignment and adjustment
  • Domestic travel and international travel required (Mexico and Canada)

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or certificate in CNC technology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related field is preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in CNC service, maintenance or repair; experience with different types of CNC machines such as lathes, mills, routers, etc. is a plus
  • Strong mechanical and electrical skills and knowledge of CNC programming and operation
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer locations as needed
  • Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills
  • A professional, positive and proactive attitude
