Responsibilities
- Installing, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC machines and computerized control systems at customer sites
- Performing preventive maintenance tasks and providing training to customers on how to use and maintain CNC machines safely and efficiently
- Communicating with customers and service managers to ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of issues
- Documenting service activities and reporting any problems or suggestions to improve service quality and performance
- Replace ball screws, motors and any parts as needed
- Machine alignment and adjustment
- Domestic travel and international travel required (Mexico and Canada)
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree or certificate in CNC technology, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related field is preferred
- At least 3 years of experience in CNC service, maintenance or repair; experience with different types of CNC machines such as lathes, mills, routers, etc. is a plus
- Strong mechanical and electrical skills and knowledge of CNC programming and operation
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to customer locations as needed
- Excellent customer service, communication and problem-solving skills
- A professional, positive and proactive attitude
