Five trainees from the Midwest area came down to HMA from March 13th to 16th to take the “Swiss Turning Advanced” course held by Dave Folz, Engineering Manager. During the four-day course, they learned “Advanced Part Programming, and Understanding Imposing and Super Imposing Format.”

After completing the training, they earned the certificate of “Advanced Part Programming”.

Ten trainees from all over the country came to HMA on January 30th and had training until February 3rd.

The class these 10 trainees took was Swiss Turning Basics. During that week, they learned the “principles of Swiss machining, Basic Swiss Part Layout and Beginner Part Programming, Machine Setup, and Part Cutting”.

 

On their last day, all the trainees successfully finished their training and received certificates of “Swiss Turning Basics”

At the MD&M Show in Anaheim, California, February 7-9, 2023, Hanwha Machinery America introduced the XD26ll-V, which is specialized in the processing of medical device products. Through this exhibition, many customers were informed of the processability of orthopedic and surgical tool parts and dental supplies (implant, abutment, fixture). Even now, a significant number of medical device customers are continuously inquiring about whether to process medical device products. About 60 medical device customers visited and showed a lot of interest.

In particular, Creodent purchased three XD20s on-site and completed installation and performance verification. They said they are very satisfied with the precision and tool life compared to their competitors’ machines and are considering purchasing additional machines.
